2009 Fall State Symposium
The Indiana MUFON State fall Symposium was held Saturday September 19, 2009 at the Franklin Indiana branch of the Johnson County Public Library on the campus of Franklin College. A good crowd listened intently, asked questions and participated in the series of presentations. 2009 report activity as well as review of a few past reports received lively discussion. MUFON STAR team member Glen M. reviewed the MUFON "SIP Project" activity and a couple of cases in Indiana in which he was lead investigator. Glen M. along with Jason B. (MRIPA) reviewed a joint MUFON/MRIPA investigation at Fort Wayne. MRIPA members Jason B. and Rachel W. then described the results of their initial investigation at Lucky Point.
The final presentations by Jim D. described World War II U.S. air crew involvement with what were known as Foo Fighters over Europe and in the Pacific theaters. A final presentation by Stu H. described the advancements made by science in the last few years on our understanding of the universe; particularly the solar system, star formation, expo planets and with our Milky Way galaxy.

Next Meeting ! ! ! ! ! !
We're hoping to hold the Spring 2010 conference on the Grissom Aeroplex in what was formally the Grissom Air Force Base officers club. The Grissom Aeroplex is located between Peru and Kokomo on US31 and among other things houses the Grissom Air Museum (which is currently open on Saturdays). The former air base off flight-line buildings on the base have been converted to civil and commercial use as has the former military housing area. All future information regarding this meeting will be posted here on our web site.
